系所沿革

中國文化大學「國際企業管理研究所」之前身為「企業管理研究所」，於民國64年奉准成立，是國內早期培養企業經理人才之搖籃。此一階段先後延請蔡辰男博士、曹正樸博士、廖大林博士、及劉炳吉博士擔任所長，以培育企業管理經營專業人才為一貫之辦學宗旨，著重理論及實務之兼顧，配合學術潮流及社會需要，敦聘國內外學有專精之博士師資，以科學方式和數量方法結合企管理論，建立科學與人文兼備之教學特色，培養學生多樣化經營能力。

國際企業管理之研究，最早開始於1950年代美國之哈佛大學商學院。民國78年，兼任所長之商學院院長林彩梅博士，深知經濟全球化是未來的趨勢，而世界經濟發展與多國籍企業之成長又密切的相關性，因此國家經濟發展深受該國企業國際化程度之影響。為因應此一趨勢，並配合我國積極引進外來投資以及對外投資，以發展企業國際化、提高產業國際競爭力之政策對國際企業管理人才及教學師資的殷切需求，因此申請更名為「國際企業管理研究所」並努力向教育部爭取設立博士班，經4年努力方於民國81年核准更名為「國際企業管理研究所」，博士班也奉准成立正式招生，成為國內第一所「國際企業管理研究所」，培養具國際觀、國際素養之卓越管理人才與國際學者、大學師資為宗旨。

繼林彩梅所長、徐中琦所長之後，謝安田博士擔任本所所長以及商學院院長10年。民國93年，本校前任校長林彩梅博士卸任後，學校借重其國際化領域之學術專才，續聘任為商學院院長兼國際企業管理研究所所長。民國99年再委由謝安田博士擔任本所所長，民國100年由周建亨博士接任所長迄今。

The History of the Programs

The Master’s program, Department of International Business Administration at the Chinese Culture University, were established in 1975 and was named Master’s program, Department of Business Administration, and was renamed to its current name in 1992. The program aims to cultivate professional talents in enterprise management and operation, focusing on both theory and practice. It also emphasizes the combination of science and humanities in teaching, and has hired domestic and foreign doctoral teachers with expertise to establish a teaching feature that combines scientific and quantitative methods with enterprise management theory. In 1992, the department began offering a doctoral program to meet the increasing demand for international business management talents and teaching staff. The programs has been led by Dr. Tsai-Mei Lin, Dr. Jonchi Shyu, Dr. An-Tien Hsieh, and Dr. Chien-Heng Chou, since its establishment.
